July 24, 2007 :  Chennai, India

"......Our arrival in Chennai on July 11 culminated after THREE DAYS of travel.....early the following morning visited the Bambino School.  That afternoon, we participated in a press conference.  We're planting art therapy seeds in India!

Early the next morning, we were off to Stella Maris College where Judy, Sangeeta, and I were the invited lecturers for a seminar on art therapy.  The college is keen to develop an art therapy graduate and/or certificate program.  Sangeeta is a prized alumni of the college and will certainly be instrumental in assisting with the logistics.  Judy and I, of course, will happily provide input and consultation.  It would be wonderfull to connect the ESU program with Stella Maris.

The next day was an all-day seminar hosted by the Bambino Educational Trust.   We had such an eager audience of school counselors, teachers, psychologists, administrators, etc!  They were like sponges, and eager to see art therapy take root in India..........."
