June 2007
"
Art Therapy has been exercised widely in the western countries for more than
40 years.
Art
Therapy helps alleviate people from a variety of psychiatric disorders, as
an alternative intervention.
Burapha University see the potential benefit in the field, and organized the
first international introductory Course on Art Therapy in Thailand during
March 17 – 18, 2006..
Recently,
Faculties of Nursing, Fine and Applied Arts, and Public Health have joined
hands to establish the .. Asia-Pacific Art Therapy Center at Burapha
University as a station of learning, research, and provider of the knowledge
of art therapy for the Asia-Pacific region...."
